Fri Dec 01 to Sun Dec 03 (£5-15 Per event or Free Entry) - To celebrate 20 years of Chronic Love Foundation (CLF) we’re throwing a mighty celebratory weekender in collaboration with Red Bull and Havana Club, featuring 24 acts performing at 9 events, over 3 days, at 2 stunning venues - deep in the heart of Peckham at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Gardens + next door at the recently restored Old Waiting Room (OWR), Peckham Rye Station.

Sat Dec 02 (11pm-3am / £5-10 Entry) - We gonna get down ON IT, as The CLF present a SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL 2 floor celebratory get down with Legendary heavy weight soul/funk/disco DJs FEMI FEM and DJSOULPROVYDER up on the roof and mighty fine exponents of house & Disco Edits + beyond DAVE RITCHIE + JUSTIN STEEL (Tangerine), COOK (UK Flava) + long term collaborator GARETH BEVAN deep in the lounge at THE CLF ART LOUNGE.

Time to get yoh well sweet Saturday night dance ON! 

FEMI FEM

Femi Williams (aka Femi Fem) kicked off his career running the Family Funktion/ Shake & Fingerpop warehouse parties in the 1980’s with Norman Jay & Judge Jules. In 1990, he set up the groundbreaking Young Disciples with Marco Nelson featuring Carleen Anderson. After chart success including the single Apparently Nothin’ which came from their Mercury Award-nominated Road To Freedom album on Talkin’ Loud Records, Femi Carved his name out as a prolific remix artist. Working with Ultra Naté Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Des’ree, D’Influence, The Pasadena and Beyoncé. As a DJ: The best known of Femi’s DJ appearances, was the regular Friday night slots at his own club nights, MOBO Award-winning, Rotation at London’s Subterranea.

DJSOULPROVYDER

djsoulprovyder has been a purveyor and collector of 70’s soul jazz funk latin and rare groove since 1991. Originally dj’ing alongside the ten piece acid jazz funk band Blk2Basic where they hosted a weekly live jam music session called “Spontaneous Construction” which ran for nearly fifteen years. He then developed his own brand called the Soul Solution Soundsystem featuring  various vocalist & musicians performing live over his dj sets.

His current sets include a selection of past and present music with a flexibility of joining the dots and crossing over many musical genres, journeying from his disco and afro-latin jazz funk/fusion roots to a deeper electronic afro-tech and broken-beat sound.

DAVE RITCHIE (Tangerine)

Dave Ritchie has been an avid collector of music for longer than he cares to admit, with his tastes covering a far ranging spectrum of music. Since the late 90’s he has been mesmerized by the underground house and techno scene in London and it is this passion that is reflected in his sets where his main focus is the deepest of house music and on to the darker side of techno and tech house. It is the untempered energy he brings to each performance that enables him to effortlessly blend these genres to create his own unique sound, taking the crowd on a creative and wonderfully eclectic journey.

JUSTIN STEEL (Tangerine)

London based DJ/producer/remixer and Tangerine resident. Productions and remixes have appeared on labels such as Cubism, Stripped Recordings, Influential House, Form & Function, F*** House Music & Hype Muzik.

COOK (UK Flava)

Cook (aka Adam Cook) started his career as a DJ back in the late 90’s playing at local UK Garage events and parties in Bromley and Croydon. He went on to play at variety of venues across London through the 00s playing a variety of deep house, garage and disco.

GARETH BEVAN

Part of the Tangerine Collective, Gareth plays uplifting house and 21st century disco. You will dance!
