Candela Session #12: OGs, Young Guns and Princesas @ LatinoLife in the Park

The Showcase of showcases, at LatinoLife in the Park, the UK’s largest Latin music Festival, which took place on Saturday 5th August 2023 in Walpole Park. We picked the very best of our UK Latino and Latina young guns who had shone in previous showcases, and chose some exciting new talent who are ever emerging from the scene, to perform next to the OGs of the Latin London scene at the biggest Latin event of the year

We invited Las princesas británicas - new princesses of London's urban Latin realm, who are shaking up the music scene on this small island - Mia, Nono, Caro - together with our staple female crew at Candela Records Lisey Tigra, Nahomy, Georgia Scott and Yvli to join the OGs of London’s Dominican urban music scene, Faqundo Gonzalez, Panamanian rapper R Louis and Colombian OG Dukus. Joining them were young guns La Frecuencia, who performance on the Viva Stage at The Lambeth Country Show earned him his rightful place on the main stage, and newcomer Latyno Bbi  who brought his soulful vibe.
