BETTY BLACK (LIVE PA) - Artist on stage around 4:15pm performing X1 Live set

Known for having one of the most distinguishable voices in modern music, Elisabeth Troy has had a electrifying career since starting out in Jungle and Hardcore in the early nineties, soon becoming a pioneering force to be reckoned with on the underground and mainstream dance music scene. She achieved a massive underground club hit singing on Bass Selective's "Blow out part 2", and a Huge top 40 with the classic 'Greater Love’. 

A few years on she further cemented her place as a vocal and writing force with her ground-breaking work with M.J. Cole on the Gold Selling "Sincere" Album and numeral performances on "Top of the Pops" & "Later with Jools Holland". She has shown time and time again that she can turn her hand to any genre and make it her own. 

The success of her recent collaboration with Digital Soundboy leading lady B.Traits has introduced her to a new audience, Whilst at the same time bringing her back almost full circle to a sound very reminiscent to her Hardcore/ Jungle roots. 

Maintaining a fresh and forward vibe allowing her to explore new musical territories and blur the lines between dance music classics and more traditional singer-songwriter formats, it's no wonder that she's regarded as one of the hottest properties in British urban music today.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Akin Soul is a 21-year-old jazz and soul singer, multi-instrumentalist & songwriter from South East London who plays keys, guitar and trombone. Raised on a diet of Marvin Gaye, Stevie, Quincy, Lalah & Donny Hathaway, Amy & Corinne Bailey Rae... In 2018 Akin founded the 12 piece band - Akin Soul & The Soul Tribe who have gone on to perform across London at Glastonbury, We Out Here Festival, Brainchild Festival, Love Supreme, All Point's East, Brainchild, Great Escape.

FEMI FEM

Femi Williams (aka Femi Fem) kicked off his career running the Family Funktion/ Shake & Fingerpop warehouse parties in the 1980’s with Norman Jay & Judge Jules. In 1990, he set up the groundbreaking Young Disciples with Marco Nelson featuring Carleen Anderson. After chart success including the single Apparently Nothin’ which came from their Mercury Award-nominated Road To Freedom album on Talkin’ Loud Records, Femi Carved his name out as a prolific remix artist. Working with Ultra Naté Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Des’ree, D’Influence, The Pasadena and Beyoncé. As a DJ: The best known of Femi’s DJ appearances, was the regular Friday night slots at his own club nights, MOBO Award-winning, Rotation at London’s Subterranea.

PETE MELLO

Pete has played on and managed several radio stations in the past where ” The Music of Soul Origin Radio Show” was developed in 2010 with The original selection of “all things soulful” from Boogie to Soulful and Deep House, Boogie,,Independent-Nu Soul, Jazz-Funk, Broken Beats, Rare Groove etc. Pete continues to hold radio shows The Music Of Soul Origin radio show & The “All things Soulful” radio show on both 

Pete has also been resident for 9 years at one of London’s ongoing successful soul nights called Remember The Times (RTT) and also currently successfully runs his own “All Things Soulful” Brand/Club night at various venues across london, now in its 10th event over the last two years.
