We invite you to join us for a film screening of La Historia Oficial (The Official Story). The event will begin with a reception at 18:15, with opening remarks by His Excellency Mr Javier Figueroa, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the United Kingdom. The event is followed by a vibrant panel discussion on Argentina in the 1970s and 1980s, looking, through a lens of history and memory, at the impact of the dictatorship, the fighting spirit of the oppressed and how they sought regain their autonomy from an authoritarian regime and look forward to the future.
