“Sacred Bath” explores body ownership and spirituality in a powerful journey of self-reflection. Conceived in a bathtub during a moment of crisis, this physical theatre piece created by Alice Motta, a Brazilian  performer, and poet, delves into the depths of self-biographical stories, challenging societal norms and invites audiences to reevaluate the ownership and safety of their own bodies. In a tapestry of poetry, movement, storytelling, and humour, this bilingual piece presented in Portuguese and English explores objectification by different circles of society and issues around trust, navigating the complex nature of sexuality, influenced by Culture and Religion.

"Brave and beautiful", "Very poignant", "Needed" were some of the audience's feedbacks.
