The Omar Puente Charanga Jazz Sextet sees the award-winning Cuban jazz violinist revisit his musical roots.

Having collaborated with the likes of Tito Puente, Wynton Marsalis and Nigel Kennedy, Omar has proven himself to be an international leading figure of the jazz, Latin jazz & classical music scenes time and time again.

Playing a blend of original tunes and new arrangements of traditional Cuban favourites, the Charanga Sextet introduces the influence of African rhythm and modern jazz into the mix.

It’s a fiery and exuberant set, touching on Africa, Cuba and England as it progresses.
