This weeks eclectic Jazz + beyond swinging DJ GW JAZZ joined by outstanding Jazz Sextet KRSIX (LIVE) deep in the lounge at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Gardens.

KRSIX (LIVE) - Band On stage around 9pm, playing 2 live sets

KRSIX is an instrumental sextet led by saxophonist Kasper Rietkerk. The narrative music is most reminiscent of something between Brian Blade’s Fellowship of Acoustic and Radiohead. Kasper performs with Max McLeish (trombone), Alex Lockheart (guitar), Benji Bown (piano), Jonah Evans (drums) and Toby Yapp (double bass).

GW JAZZ

Gordon Wedderburn is one half of the couple behind GW Jazz, a grassroots organization supporting Jazz, particularly emerging talent in London. Through his live event residencies, radio show, selector/dj activities and clothing brand, they’ve collaborated with and supported some of the biggest names on the London Jazz scene including, Sons of Kemet, Camilla George, Zara McFarlane, Ben Hayes, Nubiya Garcia, Moses Boyd, Lokkhi Terra, Dele Sosimi, Robert Mitchell, Collocutor, Tomorrow’s warriors and Ezra Collective.
