On Saturday it’s party time Latino style! LatinoLife’s ‘Viva Fiesta’ Stage brings the Latino club feel to the Lambeth Country Show. London’s hottest Latin-Caribbean party DJs join performers from the UK’s burgeoning urban Latin scene. Candela Records’ exciting roster of artists fuse London sounds with Latin-Caribbean beats, in a unique hybrid of reggaetón, grime, drill, dancehall, afrobeats, salsa, soul, funk and more. SUNDAY 11 JUNE – LATINO LIFE STAGE

Sunday is dedicated to a full-on celebration of Latino culture in all its splendour – the best live Latin music in the UK, a massive dance extravaganza, with great presenters, animations and DJs. London’s finest Latin big bands will take you on a journey through Central and South America with salsa, samba, jazz, fusion, folk, funk, hip-hop and lots of dance, culminating in a party you won't want to leave.

19:30 Headliner: Alvarez Funk

James Brown meets Irakere is how we describe this electrifying and high-energy Cuban funk band, fronted by Rene Alvarez. The award-winning Santiago-born singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist was Europe’s most sought-after salsa vocalist and bandleader before living his life-long dream of combining his Afro-Cuban roots with his passion for North American funk. Having toured the world with his Salsa outfit, featured in the latest James Bond movie No Time to Die, the smooth operating salsero unleashes his punkster-funkster alter-ego into this sensational 7-piece Cuban band.

The talented singer-songwriter brings the grace, charisma and diverse rhythms of her native Colombia through her powerful fusion of Afro-Colombian folk, pop and rock.

The only female vocalist to be awarded a LUKAS, Angelica has toured with international artists such as Willie Colon & Rey Ruiz, whilst enjoying success with her own sound featuring gaita pipes and accordion, powered by electric guitar and drum kit.
