LatinoLife Film Club - 'Santo Domingo Blues' Directed by Alex Wolfe

LatinoLife Film Club - 'Santo Domingo Blues' Directed by Alex Wolfe

In the first of our Film Club screenings, London's only independent cinema space for films in Spanish and Portuguese, LatinoLife is delighted to show 'Santo Domingo Blues' directed by Alex Wolfe, the fascinating tale of how Bachata, a music genre once vilified by the Latin upper class as the bawdy ghetto soundtrack of brothels and vulgar cabarets, came to rival meringue and salsa as the preferred music of the Latin world.
