ELIANE CORREA presents AZUCAR QUINTET (LIVE) - Band Live on stage from around 2pm, performing 2 live sets

Azúcar is an all-female Latin quartet (or almost-all-female quintet) with a twist: as well as covers of legendary salsa hits by the likes of Celia Cruz, Oscar d'León and Marc Anthony and the Cuban Buena Vista repertoire, this quartet offers a repertoire of salsa and Latin arrangements of dancefloor hits from the 70's up to present day, such as for example Superstition, Ain't Nobody, Valerie and Halo.

The quartet/quintet is led by internationally renowned composer and pianist Eliane Correa (Hans Zimmer, Mayito Rivera, Jimmy Bosch & more), and fronted by the exceptional Luisa Santiago on vocals – a composer, pianist and songwriter herself who is one of the most sought after musicians of the UK Latin scene. With over half a dozen international awards among them, this quartet/quintet delivers a unique take on Latin music at the highest quality.

BROTHERHOOD OF BREATH (Live) - Band on stage from around 4pm, performing 1 long Live set.

The Brotherhood of Breath has moved through many incarnations over five decades, and we are determined to burn the flame brighter than ever now, to ensure its continuance with new generations of great UK talent available to take deputy positions in the band, ensuring our festival and club stages will benefit from these joyous and inspiring rhythms, melodies and arrangements for another 50 years.

“Some of the most vital and life-affirming big band jazz ever played” Nick Halstead - Jazzwise

“A heartfelt reunion of one of the most influential modern bands in jazz - the obvious infectious enjoyment and rapport of the musicians was met with rapturous applause and appreciation by the capacity audience" - Kevin LeGendre - Jazzwise
