GR delivering a hand picked line up of the finest up & coming live bands across London and way beyond for your absolute listening pleasure. This month, we present London based Guitarist & Composer + full Jazz fuelled band, THE JOE HERBERT QUARTET (LIVE). JHQ delivering all-new original music alongside compositions by some of jazz's seminal figures, free entry, deep in the lounge at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Garden.

GRASS ROOTS serving as a 1st Thursday monthly platform for promising artists to ‘polish their chops and play their own choons’. These fresh and fully inclusive sessions are a must attend for patrons and participants alike.

JOE HERBERT QUARTET(LIVE) - Band on stage around 9pm, performing 2 Live Sets

Joe Herbert is a young, London-based guitarist and composer. His music is rooted in jazz and improvised music influenced by the likes of Wayne Shorter and Thelonious Monk, and inspired by the lyrical melodies and dancing rhythms of folk music. Joe will be accompanied on stage by Reuben Goldmark on piano, Toby Yapp on bass and Edmund Ashmore on drums. Expect a varied selection of all-new original music alongside compositions by some of jazz's seminal figures.

Grass Roots is a monthly live music affair which began life at The Vortex Jazz Club in March 2019 before briefly relocating to Notting Hill Arts Club in August 2021, now a resident monthly event at The CLF Art lounge
