Appropriately, according to founding members Simón Mejía and Li Saumet, the band's name is a Colombian term for "a really cool, awesome, bad ass party", and with A-listers like Will Smith and Sofi Tukker having joined the Bomba posse for infectious dancefloor collaborations, it feels like everyone wants to be on this guest list.

With a string of Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations under their belt, Bomba Estéreo toured as support for Arcade Fire's Everything Now World Tour, which saw them pick up a whole new family of fans across Europe and the US. In 2018, the band reached the worldwide Top 500 most listened to artists on Spotify, so a return to London for their biggest headline date so far with new record Deja is big news.
