Bala Desejo

Rio de Janeiro-based Latin Grammy winners, Dora Morelenbaum, Julia Mestre, Lucas Nunes and Zé Ibarra. Friends since school days, the four musicians began to draw attention after some participation in the lives on Instagram of singer Teresa Cristina. This movement culminated in the release of the group’s debut album, entitled “Sim Sim Sim” released by Coala Records label.
In 2020, each of the musicians followed a different path in their respective musical careers: Dora was part of the Zanzibar vocal group, Julia was composing songs for her solo work, while Zé and Lucas were immersed in the productions of the second album of their band, Dônica, which they integrate together with Tom Veloso, André Almeida and Rodrigo Parcias. Lucas also produced Caetano Veloso’s album Meu Coco, released in 2021.
