Following her sell-out 2019 show we present two nights with Brazil’s leading figure in the current MPB scene: Latin Grammy award-winning singer Adriana Calcanhotto.

Almost three decades since the release of her first album, Calacanhotto has become one of the most recognisable names of her generation in Brazil.

Singer-songwriter, author, illustrator, and lecturer at the University of Coimbra, she’s grown to global star status through her merging of bossa nova, MPB and samba influences.

Gifted with a crystal clear voice and her own particular songwriting skills, she’s a modernist who incorporates the ever-inspiring Tropicália movement with poetic love songs. Her upcoming album is due for release later this year.
