One of the leading lights of Puerto Rican salsa, Willie Rosario aka "Mr. Afinque," this true legend of latin music has been filling dance floors for over 60 years, either by rocking it with his band or via his extensive discography. His band has been the launch platform for some of the most important salsa singers in history, including the fantastic Gilberto Santa Rosa. Rosario is one of the few latin musicians who has been active from the big band era to the boogaloo, Fania era, romantic salsa to the more modern sound...Mr Rosario has been part of it all and still managed to create fantastic music aimed to the dancer.
