Top 10 Hector Lavoe Tracks

The Singer of Singers, Hector Lavoe was the face of NY salsa in the 70s and went on to become an icon of latin music. His voice was second to none and his delivery and stage persona made him one of the most populars singers of his time. The depth of feeling that he transmitted through his voice, as well as his immaculate timing made him an unrivalled wonder of salsa's golden age. Almost 30 years after his death, he is still revered by salsa fans and his legacy lives on through a fantastic catalogue of music which Fania Records still promote to this day. There are no bad Hector Lavoe songs songs, but this is just our humble and biased selection!
