Ten Tequila Cocktails for your Christmas Party

Being a resolutely happy spirit with only positive effects, the sure way to Latin-up your Christmas Party this year is with some exotic tequila cocktails, courtesy of our friends at Peyote.

Tamarind Margarita
Shaken in ice in Martini glass or tumbler glass: TEQUILA Blanco 50ml, Lime juice 25ml, El Yucateco Tamarind syrup 25ml, Agave syrup 5ml

Chiquitita
Dry shake in ice, double strain ain Coupe Glass Or martini glass: Tequila Blanco - 40ml, Campari - 20ml, Coing liqueur - 10ml, Peychauds bitters - two dashes, Lime juice -20ml, Grapefruit juice - 20ml, Agave nectar - 10ml. Garnish wth Orange peel.


La  Paloma
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 60ml white tequila, 60ml pink grapefruit juice, 30 ml lime juice, 10 ml sugar syrup and a pinch of salt. Stir and top up with soda water or fizzy grapefruit drink. Lounge and sip whilst dreaming of Tulum…

Hibiscus Margarita
Shaken in ice, TEQUILA Blanco 50ml, Lime juice 25ml, El Yucateco Hibiscus syrup 25ml, Agave syrup 5ml . Serve in Martini glass or tumbler glass

El Yucateco
Shaken in ice, Double strain, in a Coupe Glass Or martini glass; Tequila Reposado - 35ml, El Yucateco, Horchata concentrate - 30ml, Mezcal - 20ml, Lime - 20ml, Passoa - 15ml, Egg white. Passion fruit garnish.

La Guera

Shake on ice in a highball glass 1 Passion fruit squeezed, lemon juice 25ml, Vanilla syrup - 20ml, HERENCIA DE PLATA TEQUILA Reposado - 50ml Garnish half passion fruit and mint

Tequila Sunrise
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 50ml white tequila. Then carefully pour in 90ml fresh orange juice. DO NOT STIR. Add 10ml grenadine. The grenadine should sink to the bottom of the glass … giving you … a sunrise effect. Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry. Sip to side one of Sticky Fingers.

Cosmopolitano
Shake on ice TEQUILA Blanco - 50ml, Contreau – 25ml , El Yucateco Hibiscus syrup – 20ml , Lime juice – 15ml Serve in  Coupe Glass Or martini glass with Orange peel garnish

Guava Margarita
Shake on ice TEQUILA Blanco 50ml, Lime juice 25ml, Guava syrup 25ml, Agave syrup 5ml in a Martini glass or tumbler glass

El Niño
Muddle 6 wedges of lime in the bottom of a cocktail shaker with one hulled strawberry and 20ml sugar syrup. Fill up with ice. Add 60ml white tequila and a good dash of rosewater. Shake up a storm. Strain into an ice filled tumbler. Garnish with a rose petal or two.
