Bryan Cancel Santiago was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico in 1992. Before he ever sang, he wanted to be a pilot. From a very early age, he was a lyricist and drafted his experiences in rhyming verses. As a teenager, Brytiago improved his singing, songwriting, and dancing skills by analysing YouTube videos from artists he admired, such as Daddy Yankee, who he met at the age of eight. After meeting Yankee,  a friend of re-introduced him again to the older artist 14 years later and agreed to audition his demos in his Cartel label studio. After that hearing, Yankee took his number and told him to expect a call. Brytiago  signed to Cartel in 2014.

Brytiago released 13 singles for the label in 2016 including "Bebe" and "Punto G" (feat. Darell). While none of his earliest tracks had charted, "Me Ama Me Odia" went platinum and his videos did particularly well thanks to social media platforms.

His smooth tone and his contagious harmonies have given a compelling contrast to the trap's provocative and slick beat, layered production, and urban swagger as he has proved with the nine-times-platinum-selling "Asesina" with Darell, and  quadruple-platinum remix with Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, and Anuel AA. His videos accumulated hundreds of millions of views including those for "Controla” feat. Anuel AA and "NETFLIXXX" feat. Bad Bunny.

The 2017 remix of "Bebe," featuring Daddy Yankee and Nicky Jam, became his first charting solo track; it reached into the Top 100 in Spain. Later that year his "Bipolar" single feat. Chris Jeday and Ozuna was placed onthe U.S. Top 20 at Hot Latin Songs. 2018's multi-platinum-selling "Asesina" feat. Darell peaked at 17 on the Hot Latin Songs list. Brytiago's videos have surpassed his singles in the market with each new track scoring millions of views.

He appeared on the "A Solas" remix by Lunay, Lyanno, and Anuel AA, the track went to number nine. Anuel AA was also a featured collaborator on Brytiago's number 28 single "Controla," which had kicked off 2019. The same year, Brytiago participated on the singles "Una Mujer" by DJ Nelson along with De La Ghetto and Darell and "Verte Ir" by DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, Anuel AA ,Nicky Jam and Darell.

The urban singer is currently promoting new single "Cositas" featuring Rauw Alejandro has reached over 10 million views after just one week being on Youtube.
