With people being advised to stay at home to prevent the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), many Latin artists have decided to use their platforms to offer intimate acoustic concerts via livestream.

In a bid to keep reggaeton lovers entertained, Sech, J-Quiles and Dalex are amongst some of the artists which have announced there plans to keep themselves productive during quarantine by going ahead and offering to do Youtube live concerts - without no live audience of course.

Posting on IG, the Panamanian artist Sech said: “We’re preparing everything for our YouTube live concert. Stay tuned, we’re keeping active, quarantine and music”. Sech, who was due to perform his Sueños Tour in the US with special guest Dalex, will now be hosting the show live on his Youtube channel 7pm ET on Wednesday, March 18.

Meanwhile Dalex, who was also touring in several cities across Spain this week, will now be singing live at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 19. Inviting his fans to subscribe to his YouTube channel, the artist took to twitter to encourage people to stay informed and take the necessary precautions.

Justin Quiles also posted on his Facebook and Instagram accounts his live-streamed presentation at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20.  “Since we are all bored we are doing this to entertain ourselves,” he said. The three artists who are all signed to the record label Rich Music, will also be hosting a Q&A session with fans.

As for fans of the pretty boy dirty boy Maluma, who was set to perform his 11:11 tour here in the UK on April 2nd, no new dates have been announced as of yet.

Another hot reggaeton artist who had to cancel his European leg tour including his show in London later on this month, was Lunay.

But, whilst the entertainment industry has had to adapt in unprecedented times, videos of people serenading their fellow neighbors in places like Italy have gone viral. And although some countries (including the UK) are yet to implement lockdown, the challenging times the world is now facing, will see boredom sparking creativity.

Whether your self-isolating or vibrating on a higher level, music and news are going to be the biggest forms of entertainment over the foreseeable future so make sure you stay tuned - and safe - with reggaeton in the UK!
