Largest feet on a living person – male

The largest feet on a living person are 40.55 cm (1 ft 3.96 in) right foot, and 40.47 cm (1 ft 3.93 in) left foot, and belong to Jeison Orlando Rodriguez Hernandez of Venezuela, as verified on 3 June 2018.

Jeison was just 22 years old when the record was confirmed. He lives in Maracay, Venezuela with his family and wears custom-built shoes made just for him in Germany!

On the topic of “Largest”, Latin America also saw records broken for Largest drawing by an individual, which measured an incredible 289.08 m² and was created by Alejandro Rivera Cañas of Mexico, as well as Largest comic book published, which was awarded to the comic book ‘Turma da Mônica’ in Brazil, and measures 6,976.02 cm².

The Largest flower arrangement / structure (number of items) was also achieved in Ecuador using over half a million flowers grown in the mountains of the Pedro Moncayo canton. The flowers were positioned to recreate one of Ecuador's most important archaeological sites at Plazoleta La Banda Tabacundo.

68-ft (20.72 m) of crashing water was no match for Brazilian surfer Maya Gabeira who set the record for Largest wave surfed (unlimited) – female in Nazaré, Portugal, on 18 January 2018, despite being knocked unconscious by a wave in the same location back in 2013!

Mexico embraced the World Cup fever in June, setting two records in the build up to football’s biggest tournament. The Largest human image of a shirt was formed by 363 people standing in formation to replicate the shirt worn by the national team. Most people playing table football simultaneously was later achieved by 1,080 participants in the Zócalo of Mexico City.

Brazilian international footballer Ederson also secured the record for Longest football (soccer) drop kick with a humongous 75.35 m punt!

2018 saw three fantastic chocolate records set in Brazil, Mexico and Peru. The Largest cup of hot chocolate/cocoa contained 4,816.6 litres and was achieved by the Municipio de Uruapan (Mexico); while the Largest chocolate tasting event was held in Peru with 797 participants and the Largest chocolate sculpture was built by Equipe da Casa do Chocolate (Brazil), weighing a massive 10,488 kg!

Finally, it was a great year for Latin artists, with Luis Fonsi earning seven Guinness World Records titles for 'Despacito' including: Most streamed track worldwide, Most viewed video online and Most weeks at No.1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart.

Victor Manuelle was also presented with five records, including Most charted titles on the Billboard Latin Airplay charts (71); while Cuban-born singer Camila Cabello was awarded Most streamed track by a lead female artist on Spotify for her chart-topper ‘Havana.’
