No.1 CICLON DE CARIBE (Canalh Technomerecumbia remix) G-Flux vs. Afrodita
A new 'nu-cumbia' track available for download remixing the mighty Afrodita.

No.2  CUMBIA DE LAS OBEJAS Orchestra Italian Jazz
Super-rare in a classic style. Sounding like an early Lucho Bemudez.  I love this style.

No.3 SIO SIO  Pollito Boogaloo
Brand new from brighton's very own cumbia, valento band.  Roots folkloric colombian music at its best.  Check this band live for the hottest party.

No.4  HOLD THE LINE (Conejo remix revillero edit) Major Lazer
There are cumbia remixes and mash-ups of many classics, club hits, hip hop and r'n'b out there. Be warned you could spend the rest of your life on the internet downloading it all.  This one is a great version of Major Lazer's dancehall style smasher.

No.5  EL DIABLO  Compay Quinto  Roots Of Chicha  A great example of Chicha.  The peruvian take on Cumbia, Psychedelic, tropical, electric guiatrs and pianos replacing accordions and brass.  Check Roots of Chicha vol 1 and vol 2.  fo two cracking compilations filled with highly infectious music.

No.6  CUMBIAME  Paco Mendoza feat. Mil Santos Super hot and straight off the press. This guy is a name to watch.  Its a hip-hop cumbia bad boy.  Paco has an album just about to drop Consciente y Positivo  on la Chuasma Records.  Its great from beginning to end,

No.7  BAILA ROSITA  Conjunto Los Guacharacos
One of the anthems of colombian cumbia.  I have played this track out so many times and what a delight to see peoples eyes light up and smile appear on their face when you drop such a tune.

No.8  CUMBIA CHICHARRA cumbia chicharra
Straight out of France for this group.  This track has elements of champeta (afro/colombian)  and cumbia mixed up sounding very classic but obviously a new number.  Reckon someones needs to bring this band over.

No. 9 CUMBIA EN LA PLAYA   Grupo Kual
Representing the Mexican cumbia style.  Super fat beats and a big hook of an accordion melody and MC vocals and song.  Please check this one out.

No. 10  COCOA TEA  Mykol Orthodox cumbia remix
Currently getting lots os plays in the clubs. Great old school reggae given some cumbia magic
