Frankie Ruiz Tunes that Rock the Dancefloor

Making this list we couldn’t stop saying…. ‘this music is SO f#@•ing good!” We can truly say that Frankie Ruiz is one of our all time favourites…few vocalists can boast the level of success of "El Papá de la Salsa.” One of the most successful Latin acts of his time, Frankie was loved by millions across the Americas, becoming the first Latino singer to get a $1M record deal. This New Jersery-born Puerto Rican was the link between Salsa Dura and Salsa Romantica, boasting the sonero skills of the old school but also the suave delivery of the new romantic salseros of the 80's. During his time he out sold Gilberto Santa Rosa, Juan Luis Guerra, Jerry Rivera, and Rey Ruiz. His music is still played everywhere in the world and his untimely death at 40  was a big loss to the Latin music industry. All we can say is RIP Frankie y…Gracias.
